Atari (ex-Infogrames) a annoncé avoir vendu 1 million d'exemplaires de "Enter The Matrix" 1 semaine après sa sortie.

Les milieux financiers ont bien accueilli la nouvelle bien que les spécialistes du secteur juge normal ce volume de vente. En effet il n'est pas rare que les éditeurs écoulent 25 à 30% du volume total attendu. Atari a distrubué 4 millions d'exemplaires à ce jour.

En France, 40000 exemplaires ont déjà été vendus, mais l'accueil par la presse spécialisée est mitigée. Reste à savoir si "Enter The Matrix" aura un succès égal à l'investissement consenti par Atari.

Atari (ex-Infogrames) said he has sold 1 million units of "Enter The Matrix" for the first week of sales.

Financial analysts welcome this figure of sales despite specialists said it is what we can expect for such a game budget. It is usual for a game to sell 25 to 30% of total expected units the first week of sales. Atari expect to sell 4 millions units.
40000 units was sold in France; but video game journalists agree to say the game is not wat we call a masterpiece. We'll see in the near future wheter or not "Enter The Matrix" will match big Atari expectation lead by budget investment.
