Microsoft débarque en force sur le marché des téléphones mobiles.
Microsoft et Orange ont levé le voile aujourd'hui à Londres sur le SPV (Son Photo Video), le premier téléphone mobile utilisant le logiciel SmartPhone du géant américain des logiciels. Fabriqué par le taïwanais HTC, ce téléphone, qui permettra notamment de surfer sur Internet en couleur, d'envoyer et de recevoir des e-mails, d'échanger des photos instantanément et de télécharger de la musique et des vidéos, sera commercialisé dés début novembre au Royaume-Uni, à un prix particuliârement attractif (179 livres). Le lancement se fera quelques semaines plus tard en France (à un prix d'environ 300 euros), ainsi qu'au Danemark et en Suisse. Microsoft, qui signe avec cet appareil son entrée en fanfare sur le marché des téléphones mobiles, espâre bien faire de l'ombre aux fabricants traditionnels, Nokia, Motorola et Sony Ericsson. “ Dans les deux ans qui viennent, nous verrons ces appareils se vendre par millions chaque trimestre, â€? pronostique Juha Christensen, vice-président du Mobility Group de Microsoft.
