Banon, les lavandes au cœur du pays d'Apt

Le pays aptois dans les Alpes de Haute Provence, au sud-est de la France, accueille un tout petit village pittores­que à souhait : Banon.

Entre couleur lavande et vigne automnale, ici, l'on fabrique des produits du terroir, tous originaux : essence de lavande, vin, mais aussi fromage.

En effet ce fromage, le Banon, est mûri dans une feuille de châtaignier, ce qui lui donne ce goût parfait. Fabriqué avec du lait de chèvre, il a obtenu l'AOC en 2003.

Le pays lui-même est fabuleux. De nombreuses promenades sont à prévoir où vous cueillerez châtaignes et champignons.

Pour qui aime a photographie, ce sont de beaux clichés qui sauront saisir la beauté de ce paysage, offrant des vues panoramiques très belles, comme le montre ce vieux moulin entouré de vignes.
