Microsoft se voit contraint par le juge J. Frederick Motz d'intégrer le langage de programmation Java de Sun Microsystems dans son système d'exploitation Windows dans un délai de quatre mois.

Le juge a rejeté la demande de Microsoft de lui accorder un délai de 6 mois pour exécuter l'injonction qui doit être publiée la semaine prochaine. Le Juge Motz veut faire inclure Java dans Windows pour corriger l'avantage concurrentiel que Microsoft a obtenu en protégeant illégalement le monopole de son système d'exploitation.
